An intrepid team of four trekkers have conquered North Africa’s highest peak in aid of Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal.

Amanda Franklin and Andrew Bannister, who work at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, were joined by Yorkshire Bank employees Katherine Megson and Tara Stevens for the gruelling walk in the Atlas mountains, which took three days to complete and included a challenging climb of Mount Toukbal, which stands at 13,671ft.

The team has raised thousands of pounds for the appeal. To find out more or to donate, visit www.leedshospitalsfundraising.org.uk/lch/.
