Leeds: Woman with MS died in fire - inquest

A Leeds woman with multiple sclerosis died during a fire caused by overloaded electrics, an inquest heard.

Avril Topham, 62, was found slumped behind the door of her house on Brownhill Crescent, Harehills, Leeds, in the early hours of March 6.

Her inquest, opened on March 12, heard “overloading electrical apparatus” was the probable cause.
