Leeds woman's hair dye horror
A Leeds woman suffered such agonising pain she thought she was dying after suffering an horrific allergic reaction to hair dye.
Rachel Bulmer, of Halton, decided to dye her hair black for Halloween but ended up in a very real nightmare.

The 27-year-old did an allergy test, as instructed on the packaging, 48 hours before using the 5 L'Oreal product from Asda.
Despite the test showing negative she said her face later blew up like a balloon, her eyes were forced shut, her throat was swollen and she could barely hear. "By that time I was in that much pain I thought I was dying," she said.

Rachel said the day after using the dye a large lump appeared on the back of her head.
She went to A&E at St James's Hospital, Leeds, but was told to see her GP. She couldn't get to see her doctor so returned to hospital a few days later.
"I had a big lump on my forehead, then it spread into my face, it was really painful, really itchy, with loads of fluid coming out," Rachel said.
"The stuff coming out of my head has burned my arm and neck."
She was prescribed antibiotics, steroids and painkillers but two weeks after using the dye she is still unable to hear properly and her hair is "falling out in lumps".
Rachel said: "I haven't been able to go out, I'm scared to go out even though it's gone down quite a bit.
"I've still got red marks all on my ears, my skin has come off, I'm burnt on my forehead and arms, my face is still swollen. It's still burning on my neck and hands."
Rachel said she hadn't dyed her hair for about three years but used to dye it every three weeks.
"Nothing like this has ever happened," she added: "I won't be dyeing my hair again."
A L'Oral spokesperson said such a reaction was extremely rare.
He said: "We were very sorry to hear of Ms Bulmer's recent experience and encourage her to call our Consumer Advisory line on 0800 030 4031 so that we can offer her our support.
"Allergies to hair colourants are extremely rare but can occur for a very small number of people.
"It is vital to carry out a skin allergy test 48 hours before using the colourant each and every time, following the instructions clearly displayed on our packaging.
"We also highlight on our packaging an information website called www.becoloursafe.com.
"This site not only offers a source of clear and simple advice about colouring hair, it also provides a dedicated phone line and email address for consumers to ask further questions."
