There were three reasons to be cheerful at one Leeds high school as triplets Conor, Fionn and Joe O’Donnell achieved an incredible 25 Grade As and eight A*s in their GCSEs.
The 16-year-old brothers, who live in Headingley, are pupils at Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School in Meanwood. Fionn passed nine subjects at grade A and four at A*. Conor achieved seven grade As, three A*s and two Bs while Joe gained nine grade As, one A* and two Bs. Conor and Joe also received distinctions in ICT.
A delighted Conor said: “We’re all really ecstatic - we’ve done a lot better than we thought we were going to. We’re most pleased with sciences because the school has helped us get through them.” The triplets will now study for A-Levels at Notre Dame Sixth Form College.
