A group of 37 Leeds students flew to Fiji to help support communities, schools and kindergartens after raising over £19,000.

The team from Leeds Metropolitan University spent six weeks with the Think Pacific Foundation to develop educational and sports initiatives in rural schools.

Mr Roderick Drummond, the British High Commissioner for Fiji, said: “I was astounded by what they had contributed in such a short period of time towards education.”
