Jenniefer Gadsby is taking sibling rivalry to a whole new level by giving her little brother the push.

She is set to shove younger brother Josh White, who will celebrate his 16th birthday tomorrow, from a plane to raise money for charity.

They are hoping their 1.8 metre skydive will raise hundreds of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Rocker Josh was inspired to help the charity after his best friend and fellow band-member Declan Tillotson, 15, battled against leukaemia.

Josh, who comes from Pudsey, said: “Declan is my inspiration.

“I have always wanted to do a skydive but I decided to do it for charity.

“I didn’t know Declan at the time when he was diagnosed but I have seen pictures of him with no hair.

“It was really horrible so it is very important to raise money for the charity.”

Josh managed to rope in big sister Jenniefer, 26, also from Pudsey, to tackle tomorrow’s adrenaline-junkie challenge.

She added: “I’m looking forward to it but I’m sure pushing Josh out of the plane will definitely be the highlight.

“I’m a little bit nervous but it will be worth it because it is such a good cause.”

Declan, who attends Crawshaw School, was diagnosed with leukaemia when he was eight.

He had been away with family and started to feel unwell but within days his family were given the devastating news that he had cancer.

Declan said: “I didn’t really understand what it was but to see my mum in that state was just heartbreaking really.

“I had chemotherapy for just under four years.

“I was shocked when Josh said he wanted to do it for the Teenager Cancer Trust.

“The charity helped us a lot so it is really, really important to fundraise for them.”

The pair’s band A Mile Down are also set to play a charity gig at the Cardigan Arms on October 8 to raise money for the Trust.
