Leeds’s own Gaynor Faye honoured for her work

Leeds born Gaynor Faye has been recognised for outstanding service or support to the college or city and district of Bradford.

Gaynor was made a fellow at Bradford College in recognition of her role as an actor, writer and presenter.

She is most commonly known for her work on the likes of Coogan’s Run and popular soap Coronation Street.

Other recipients include Meghna Ghai 
Puri, president of Whistling Woods International (WWI), Asia’s leading film, television, animation and media arts institute; Rich Jones who founded the charity The Joshua Project in 2007 aged 23; Mohammed Aslam, the Aagrah Group’s executive head chef, and Eur Ing Dr Phebe Mann, nationally recognised as an exceptional role model for women in engineering.
