Millennium Square will be transformed into a massive welcome party as the Leeds Freshers Festival treats the city’s new student arrivals to a taste of things to come.

The Leeds Met event on Saturday, September 22 will feature a chill-out area, activity zones, showcase stalls and a host of stage performances. Headlining will be DJ Fresh, who is choosing Leeds to follow up on big performances at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend, T4 On The Beach, V Festival and Ibiza Rocks. Other acts on the packed bill will include Kissy Sell Out, Britain’s Got Talent’s Loveable Rogues, beat boxer Faith FX, and girl band Parade.

Leeds Freshers Festival will be hosted by Voodoo Events, with Radio Aire’s Dan Moylan and Ministry of Sound’s Tony P.
