A Leeds restaurant is celebrating after being included in The Good Food Guide for the sixth year running.
Sukhothai, which has restaurants in Chapel Allerton, Headingley, Harrogate and most recently on South Parade, Leeds centre, employs 150 staff.
The restaurant was founded by Thai-born Ban Kaewkraikhot a decade ago. She ran a successful Bangkok restaurant for eight years before moving to the UK.
General manager Tassana Buckley said: “It’s brilliant for us to be in The Good Food Guide again, it’s something we and the staff are rightly proud of.
“Authenticity means a lot to us and our brand, I think customers respect that.”
A spokeswoman for The Good Food Guide said: “Sukhothai has been in the guide for six years. We describe it as an ‘impeccably turned out Thai favourite’.”
