Leeds restaurant chain mussels in on cancer charity fundraising
A Leeds restaurant chain is 'musselling' in on cancer charity fundraising.
Caf Rouge, which has a branch near the Corn Exchange in Leeds, is donating 25p from every moules dish sold for a year to support Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Helen Thompson, marketing manager at Caf Rouge, said more activities were being planned to benefit the charity throughout the course of the year.
Charlene Asamoah from the charity, whose Yorkshire office is also based in Leeds, said: "Every pound raised by Caf Rouge will make a real difference."
Marie Curie Nurses work in the community to provide end-of-life care, free for patients.
