Leeds police called to travellers' site disturbance

POLICE were called to a travellers' site after a disturbance last night.

Officers from the North West Leeds division went to he scene at Knotford Nook at Pool-in-Wharfedale where a woman had suffered injuries in an apparent assault.

One man was arrested and the injured woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

She was later being cared for by specially trained officers and the arrested man was due to be interviewed by police today
