A TEAM of fundraisers are gearing up for Uncle Mick’s Bike Ride challenge.

The event, which is in its second year, sees supporters cycle from Liverpool to Leeds.

The two-day fundraiser was set up by Leeds man Mick Mason in aid of Martin House Hospice, where his nephew Alex, pictured in the wheelchair, often visits.

Mick, pictured in the orange t-shirt, and the team will set off from Liverpool for the 127-mile journey on April 19.

Supporters are invited to cheer them across the finish line at Granary Wharf on April 20. To sponsor them, visit www.justgiving.com/UMBR2014.
