Leeds man jailed over cannabis farm he set up to pay mounting debts

An out-of-work joiner who was caught with enough cannabis plants to produce £120,000 of the drug in a year has been sent to prison.

Keith Daniel, 53, was given a two year sentence after police found 172 plants growing in every room of his house on St Ives Mount, Armley.

Officers also found 119 small plants growing in an incubator in preparation for another crop at the West Leeds property.
