A MAN is in a critical condition after he was seriously injured following an incident at a property in Leeds last night.

A 57-year-old man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary after police were called to an address on Sholebroke Terrace at 8.48pm.

The man, who was discovered with serious head injuries, has undergone surgery and remains in a critical condition.

Detectives are on the search for a group of four men wearing dark clothing who were seen near to the gated alley that runs parallel to Sholebroke Terrace from Hall Lane.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Stainbeck CID on 101 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
