Horsforth Farmer’s Market has celebrated its first birthday.
To mark the occasion, Stuart Andrew, the MP for Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough, was invited to cut the ceremonial ribbon.
Horsforth Farmer’s Market, which is a non-profit community venture hosted by Horsforth Churches Together, hosts a wide range of stalls including seasonal organic vegetables, meat, fresh fish, eggs, cakes and chocolate.
Mr Andrew said: “Horsforth Farmer’s Market has quickly become an institution in the town and I was delighted to be there for its one year anniversary. Horsforth Churches Together have done an incredible job in instigating and then maintaining the regular markets. My congratulations to all that have been involved.”
