Charity supporters Ella Curran and Gabriella Cappelluto are hoping their yellow appearance will encourage businesses and schools to get behind a new charity drive.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is asking young people and adults to wear yellow for a day in March to raise money for services in Yorkshire.
The themed dress-down day is part of the charity’s Great Daffodil Appeal, with schools and businesses taking part receiving a fundraising pack including daffodils.
Marie Curie’s regional corporate development manager Brian Curran said: “This is a fun way to support local Marie Curie nurses and we hope that as many companies as possible will take part and encourage the most senior to the most junior members of staff to participate.”
