Event organiser, Melanie Ellyard, who runs slimming clubs in in Pudsey and Leeds city centre said: "Like so many others, my life has been affected by cancer. I lost my dad last year and I feel very touched at all the effort that the guests, celebrity speakers and all those involved in the organisation of this event have gone to.
