Leeds drivers face traffic nightmare as lights fail

Motorists face chaos

TRAFFIC lights have failed on the Armley gyratory causing Tuesday evening commuter chaos.

Queues are backing up on the northbound carriageway of the A643 in the direction of the M621 (junction 2), with knock-on effects for all major roads including A65 Kirkstall Road, Wellington Street and the inner ring road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
