Leeds city centre flasher may have filmed incident

A flasher who exposed himself to a teenage girl at a Leeds bus stop may have filmed the incident, police say.

Detectives have released this image of a man they want to speak to, who was caught on the CCTV cameras of the YEP building on Wellington Street following the incident.

The incident happened on Aug 21 between 2.30pm and 3pm. A 17-year-old girl was waiting at the bus stop on Wellington Street in Leeds city centre, just a short distance from the YEP building.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “After initially appearing to touch himself the suspect moved towards the victim where he fully exposed himself while also holding a camera style bag that may have been used to film the incident.”

Anyone with information, contact Detective Constable Lee Thimm at Holbeck CID via 101 or by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously and in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
