Leeds cat back home after unscheduled 200-mile trip to Edinburgh

BEST PAL: Molly Hudson, 13, with Tiger.

BEST PAL: Molly Hudson, 13, with Tiger.

It was a journey that could quite easily have ended in cat-astrophe.

But thankfully beloved pet moggy Tiger is safely back home in Leeds after taking an unscheduled 200-mile trip north of the border to Edinburgh. The fearless feline is thought to have jumped in the back of a vehicle bound for Scotland near his home in Morley.

Thanks to his microchip, however, he was traced back to his owners Sandra and Tom Hudson and their children Tom, 17, and Molly, 13.
