Leeds bus hits crash barriers
A bus hit central reservation crash barriers in Leeds today.
The accident happened about 7.40am on York Road on the guided bus track of the east bound carriageway out of Leeds near to the junction with Gipton Approach.

Neither the driver or the passengers on the No 18 Garforth service were
injured in the accident.

The bus was damaged on the driver's side at the front and a length of the crash barrier was also wrecked in the impact

A spokesman for First Bus, the service operator, said accidents involving vehicles on the guided bus lanes were extremely rare for obvious reasons and the cause would be investigated.
