Leeds Big Brother contestant speaks of her 'bizarre' and 'amazing' experience

Leeds artist Amy Jackson who bagged third place in Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack has described her stay in the house as "bizarre" but "amazing".

Speaking out about her experience for the first time the 21-year-old, right, from Scarcroft, says she now aims to use her experience as part of her final piece of her degree in fine art at Ruskin College, Oxford.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for Amy who had to get straight back to college just two days after leaving the house.

She said: "I did some filming for the after show and stayed in London then I came straight back to university. It was quite a lot to take in. I have been recognised more than I thought I would because it was quite a minor show in the end."

She added: "It was bizarre. It was a very strange atmosphere, something that is quite unreal. You're aware of the cameras in the first few days but then you forget."

Amy is set to return to Leeds next month as well as in the summer after completing her degree in June.
