Campaigners voiced their concerns about Welfare Reforms outside Leeds Civic Hall ahead of Leeds City Council’s full meeting.
Members of Leeds Hands off Our Homes, who are opposing the so-called ‘Bedroom Tax’, waved banners and placards outside the meetingon Wednesday, February 27.
The group are urging the Government to scrap plans that would see housing benefits slashed for working-age tenants in council or housing association homes, where tenants are considered to have more bedrooms than they need.
