Like many people across the city, Julia Osovaya seized the chance to soak up the long-awaited sunshine in a Leeds park.

And after a decidedly dreary start to summer, the forecast is now looking a lot brighter.

The heatwave is set to continue, with weather experts predicting a possible high of 25C in Leeds today (May 23) and tomorrow. (May 24)
