Two accidents on main routes into and out of Leeds caused gridlock today.
Two cars - a Suzuki Grand Vitara and a Peugeot 307 - collided on the A58 inner ring road near the former Yorkshire Post Newspapers building at about 8.15am.
There was a further incident on the roundabout on the A643 Ingram Distributor, at junction two for the M621.
Traffic backed up in all directions in and out of the city, including on the M621, with delays of up to an hour.
