Keane: Tickets for Dalby Forest gig to go on sale

Tickets go on sale on Friday for indie band Keane's night in a Yorkshire forest.

The Forestry Commission has announced that Keane will stage an outdoor concert in Dalby Forest, near Pickering, on June 25, next year.

Rated as one of the nation's top live bands, they will perform in a natural tree-lined auditorium in North Yorkshire's biggest woodland with a capacity of 5,000.

Keane follow in the footsteps of previous top acts to play the 8,600 acre rustic venue including Paul Weller, Jarvis Cocker and The Beautiful South.

Cash raised by the gig will be used to care for woodlands across North Yorkshire and the Tees Valley.
