Junior from Leeds wins place in national finals of talent competition

Junior Frood competed in the regional "Talent Fest UK" competition and is now in the national fianls.

A SCHOOLBOY from Leeds is through to the national finals of a UK talent competition.

Junior Frood, nine, from Meanwood, competed in ‘Talent Fest UK’ competition in the North West regional heat held in Blackpool.

Junior competed in the freestyle and junior solo categories and won both. He is now through to the National Finals been held in London in

September. The prize for the Freestyle category if he wins is a scholarship to the prestigious Pineapple Dance Studios in London and the Solo Dance prize is a Live performance on Sky TVs Showcase channel. Judges were top choreographers. He is a pupil at Carr Manor Primary School and regularly performs for charity.

His mum kerry said: “I’m proud. He is going to be a big star one day.”
