Hitting the right notes for charity in Cross Gates

The eight hour musical extravagannza held at St James Church on Church Lane.

The fundraising total will go towards Oxfam's work in countries around the world.

The Oxjam line up included performances Rebekah Nunns, Alan Smith, Heather Woodhead, Mike Rignall, St James Choir, Sharon Brown, Tim Knight, St James Music Group, Helen Wright, Karen Gray, Esther Arens, Janet Richardson, Russ Hughes, David Kidman, Gerry McNeice, Stanley Accrington & The Duncan McFarlane Acoustic band

A special green guitar called Jammy also made an appearance at the event. Music fans will be invited to play and be photographed with Jammy as the Oxjam Great Green Guitar Relay.
