Headingley pupils raise £3,000 for heart charity
Headingley schoolchildren have been getting active to raise over £3,000 for a national heart charity.
Richmond House School pupils raised money for the British Heart Foundation by showing off their skipping skills as part of a sponsored
challenge called a 'jump-off '.
The challenge, which involved the whole school skipping for up to 90 minutes, was part of a week-long drive to highlight the importance of
exercise.

Anne Milne, Richmond House sports teacher, said: "We like to encourage healthy habits in school and involvement with the British Heart
Foundation's Jump Rope for Heart not only shows children that working as a team and keeping fit can be great fun, but it also raises invaluable funds to help fight heart disease too."
