Have we got reviews news for you

FREE tickets to this year's Party in the Park are like gold dust, with all 70,000 snapped up by eager pop fans in a record four days.

But today, the Yorkshire Evening Post is offering one JLS superfan the chance to attend the event – and meet their heroes backstage.

The band will join acts including N-Dubz, Alesha Dixon, Little Boots, Pixie Lott and The Noisettes at the bash in Leeds on Sunday, July 26.

Thousands of fans will flock to see the stars in action and of course, the YEP will be bringing you all the news from the big event.

But we need a helper – so today, we're launching our JLS Superfan competition to find a youngster to review each performance.

The winner will have their work featured in the YEP and will get the chance to meet all the stars at Temple Newsam Park.

Leeds City Council's executive member for leisure, Coun John Procter, said: "This is a great opportunity for someone to get behind the scenes and experience the full excitement of Party in the Park.

"It's an ideal way of involving young people in what goes on. As tickets have all been snapped up by eager music fans this is an unmissable chance for someone to see what the rest of the audience do not get to see and to actually meet all the bands too."

Club sensation Agnes, hip-hop maestro DJ Ironik, rapper Tinchy Stryder, dance duo Booty Luv and songbird Beverley Knight will also perform at the free summer bash, organised by Leeds City Council in partnership with 96.3 Radio Aire.

The event, which counts the YEP as a media partner, forms the second half of a weekend of free entertainment at Temple Newsam Park, which will also host Opera in the Park on Saturday, July 25.

The concert will feature award-winning soloists Alfie Boe and Natasha Marsh, alongside the world-famous Hall Symphony Orchestra and the Leeds Festival Chorus, led by conductor David Parry.
