Chocolate lovers are being given tips on tasting some of the finest confectionery produced by a famous Yorkshire firm as part of a national week-long celebration.
The tasting of top-quality chocolate has been compared to the art of drinking fine wines, and throughout this week customers at Yorkshire’s Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms will be able to find out for themselves about the intricacies involved.
The company’s chocolate experts, including Kirsty Mitchison, left, will be at the tearooms in Harrogate, York, Northallerton and Ilkley to give customers a few hints on getting the most out of their confectionery.
The initiative is part of national Chocolate Week which started on Monday and also features tastings, promotions and competitions.
Bettys Craft Bakery has been hand-crafting chocolate for more than 90 years.
