Gymnastic enthusiasts bring Olympic spirit to Wakefield

Gymnastic enthusiasts helped bring a little Olympic spirit to Wakefield when they delivered the Phone Book from BT to households in a unique style.

Members of Rothwell Gymnastics Club illustrated some of the skills that will be on show at gymnastic events at the London 2012 Olympic Games this year.

They were also promoting a chance for Wakefield residents to win tickets to see the action first-hand.

The Phone Book from BT, which features Yorkshire’s own Olympic medallist Derek Ibbotson on the cover, offers residents the chance to take part in a draw with Olympics and Paralympics tickets as prizes.

Helen Monks, squad coach of Rothwell Gymnastics, said: “We’re delighted to help BT give our family and friends in Wakefield the chance to win tickets to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We’ll be following all the action closely and wish everyone luck.”
