Garforth mum hails food test which picked up son's allergy

Mum Gemma saw the two-year-old become pale and washed out, needing extra sleep in the day and suffering bad moods and diarrhoea.

But a pinprick of blood sent to food intolerance testing lab YorkTest found that George had coeliac disease, and had an intolerance of gluten, wheat, milk, orange and lentils.
Since the diagnosis was confirmed in August he has stuck to a new diet –with immediate results.
Gemma said: "He is already feeling less tired and washed out, but they say it could take six months for him to make a full recovery."
There is no cure, but coeliac can be controlled by diet.
