Chumbawamba

When Chumbawamba got rid of their drum kit and heavy electric gear to experiment with a more acoustic sound the response couldn't have been more positive. Not only have the followers of their full blown electric days been won over to it, but also folk audiences have come to love it in great numbers. The band's discovery of the sheer power of the human voice and the beauty of harmony singing has proved to be of huge value to its members and followers.

The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain

The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain are warm, entertaining, thought-provoking and funny. You may never think about music in the same way once you've been exposed to the Ukes' depraved musicology. From Charlie Parker to the Sex Pistols through Johann Sebastian Bach, the Orchestra take you on a world tour with only hand luggage.

African Children's Choir

What a wonderful experience it was to work with the African Children's choir™. They turned this song into a double-dose of optimism and hope for the future. Their pure sweet joy is like a breath of fresh air.

Captain Backfire

Captain Backfire formed in early 2007, and quickly began composing and gigging around the Leeds and York circuit. Their blend of bluesy-pop fused with funk guitar led to gigs at venues ranging from Rios to Hifi. The introduction of Greg Nicholas on trumpet in 2008 added a new dynamic for the band and they soon started moving towards a more pop-centric vibe. Various competitions led them to National Battle of the Bands finals, and gigging legendary venues such as The Cavern, Liverpool. Having recently recorded a new EP Captain Backfire are going from strength to strength, securing radio interest and ever more prestigious gigs. Watch this space.
