THE world’s largest sign making franchise is looking for a business partner in Leeds to take advantage of the £150 million shopping explosion in the city centre.
Signarama has been at the forefront of the sign and graphics sector for more than 20 years, and has more than 950 franchise businesses operating in over 50 countries.
Now the managing director of Signarama UK, Sunil Kapoor, has said the opportunities for the business in Leeds are too good to miss and he is calling for interested parties to get in touch.
The ideal candidate is ‘highly motivated’ with the ambition to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the city. Mr Kapoor added: “They will build a sustainable and profitable business that will grow in value and importance in direct correlation with the city itself.”
He said the search was all about finding the ‘perfect partner’ and that the successful applicant wouldn’t necessarily have experience in the signage or graphics world, adding that the business model and training provided would help the right person make a success of the job.
He said: “This is an incredible opportunity to own and build what could become one of the most important Signarama franchises in the UK. We won’t be giving that chance to just anyone.”
The owner of the Leeds franchise will be given help with finding a suitable location and with store design.
There will also be a five-week training programme, including two weeks at its world headquarters in Florida.
This is followed by a week in the UK with an experienced mentor franchisee and two weeks in the franchise owner’s chosen location.
