FIREFIGHTERS are battling to get to the source of a fire at a skip hire firm in Leeds.
Crews from several stations have been involved throughout the day in tackling an incident at Skelton waste management services on the Cross Green industrial estate.
The incident is thought to have started in a shed that contained rubbish at about 7am.
Firefighters had to clear waste that was surrounding the building before being able to tackle the blaze itself.
Crews from Gipton, Leeds, Hunslet and Stanningley have all been involved at various stages today.
They are currently using two jets to douse the fire.
