Exclusive: £1m bullion raid on Leeds city centre flat
Gold and silver bullion have been seized in a £1m raid at a Leeds city centre flat.
Officers also found gold coins, sterling and European currency when they opened a safe in the penthouse yesterday.

The gold, silver and coins were found in a flat in the Santorini block on the banks of the River Aire, at the City Island apartment complex.

A young couple live in the flat with their child.
A luxury Maserati car was also seized.
West Yorkshire Police officers searched the property following a call from the Metropolitan Police.
The flat came to the attention of officers in London as part of a 600 credit card fraud.
The discovery has now turned into a lengthy and major money laundering investigation for West Yorkshire Police proceeds of crime officers
A Polish man and Portuguese woman, thought to be in their mid 20s, were arrested and are currently being held in custody.
Suspicions were raised when officers in London arrested a woman in London on suspicion of credit card fraud.
Det Sgt Tom Walsh, for City and Holbeck proceeds of crime team, told the YEP: "It is a very big find for divisional officers to make especially as it came from a routine search request from another force.
"We originally thought we were dealing with quite small value credit card.
"It goes to show that people should not think they are safe when they go away from their home area to commit crime. Different forces keep in touch with each other and is only a matter of time before we find you.
