Escaped prisoner Michael Sayers

A criminal from Leeds who was jailed for six years in 2012 remains at large – more than two months after he escaped from an open prison.

Michael Francis Sayers, 33, was sent to HMP Sudbury in Derbyshire after being sentenced for conspiracy to commit robbery.

But he absconded from the category D prison – used for convicts who are meant to be reasonably trusted not to try to escape – on November 22 last year.
