Enjoy a light-hearted look at life in an innovative Leeds development

Yorkshire Evening Post readers are being given a sneak preview of three short animated films about an innovative Leeds development. Watch video here.

Thanks to hi-tech computer-generated imagery you can take a cyber tour of the five-acre site of Saxton, in the East Bank area of Leeds, years before it is finished.

The multi-million pound project by award-winning developers Urban Splash will see two dilapidated former council-owned tower blocks turned into 410 luxury apartments.

The mini-movies also take a closer look at the communal areas, including the two-acre garden thought to be the largest green space given to any city-centre development in Britain, and include a comedy cartoon about neighbours becoming friends.

The films, each around a minute long and made by The Neighbourhood, are an innovative twist on the usual "walkthrough" videos produced by developers.

They will be shown on big screens in Leeds from Tuesday.
