A DRIVER died after careering off the M1 yesterday. (March 5)
The 42-year-old was driving an Audi A4 convertible that hit the central reservation before crossing all three lanes of the northbound carriageway near junction 46 for Wetherby and coming to a stop in a field.
He was confirmed dead at the scene shortly after the 4.12pm incident.
No other vehicles were involved.
Enquiries into the collision are ongoing and any witnesses are asked
to contact the major collision enquiry team via 101.
