Crossgates Shopping Centre: Shops collect for homeless

Crossgates Shopping Centre has backed a donation scheme for the homeless.

The Centre is taking part in the Leeds-wide 'Change for the Better' campaign, designed to move people away from giving cash to beggars.

Instead they put money into easily-recognisable collection boxes.

Funds raised are then donated to homelessness charities.
