Crossgates Shopping Centre: Parking made easy

Crossgates Shopping Centre has been accredited with the Safer Parking Award, by Park Mark for the third year in a row.

Park Mark is an award given by the Police to car parks that have achieved the standards of the Safer Parking Scheme. The scheme is designed to reduce crime and the fear of crime in car parks.

The strict criteria to gain the award includes; providing a safer environment for clients and the clients' vehicles, ensuring that the car park is properly managed and maintained, as well as providing appropriate levels of surveillance, lighting, signage and cleanliness. Overall, these factors contribute in lowering the opportunity of crime being committed.

Receiving the Park Mark award confirms Crossgates has gone the extra mile to create a safer environment for shoppers and their vehicles.

The Centre has been able to prove no reported vehicle crime on the Centre car parks and will endeavour to continue a high level of service for all its customers.
