And to make the recycling fun, the event will include free giveaways, including bags for life, keyrings and chocolate.
On top of that, Radio Aire will be inviting the public to take part in its 'message in a bottle' competition, with a chance to win 1,000 to spend at the centre.
To enter, write your contact details on a piece of paper, put them in a plastic bottle and bring it to the centre. The draw will take place live on Friday.
A centre spokeswoman said: "The company positively encourages local businesses and residents to put their waste to good use and reduce the growing cost and pollution it takes to produce the goods again.
"Cross Gates hopes the event will enable people to see how easy recycling really is.
"It has been a national endeavour to encourage people to recycle and Cross Gates hopes to promote recycling issues."
