Cross Gates sculpture: Prankster strikes again!
Would ewe believe it... the Cross Gates roundabout prankster is pulling the wool over people's eyes once again!

A herd of sheep can now be seen frolicking at the infamous gates, at the roundabout which links Cross Gates to the ring road.

As reported on Cross Gates Today, a Welcome to Cross Gates sign was screwed onto the gates as a practical joke.
And now, the plaque has been followed by a herd of a sheep – or, to be more precise, four ewes, a ram and a little lamb.
Passer-by Irene Cotton, 68, said: "It's actually quite funny.
"The gates looks like a dog's dinner anyway. Or maybe now we should call them mutton dressed as lamb."
The gates were originally supposed to cost 70,000 but the YEP revealed last week that costs have doubled to 143,000.
But Councillor Pauleen Grahame (Lab, Cross Gates and Whinmoor) blamed council officers for their "interference" with the project.
When approached by the YEP, Coun Grahame attacked us for running the story and refused to comment.
