TWO friends from Leeds have less than 24 hours to raise the £6,500 they need to get their food business on the road.

Jim Hirst, 25, and Dan Palmer, 28, who run the Grub and Grog Shop, hope to convert a Land Rover Defender to sell healthy food and drink at festivals, markets and events across the UK.

They have already raised £3,600 on the Kickstarter website, where members of the public can pledge money for various projects.

But they still need another £2,900, and the donations deadline is tomorrow. To donate to their Kickstarter fund, visit http://kck.st/1gOHTU8.
