Christine Nield, of the Colton Parent Teacher Association, organised the collection.
She said: "The jewellery recycling scheme offers schools a fantastic way to raise vital funds. It is so easy as jewelleryrecycling.org provides you with everything you need.
"You're not only raising money but also helping the environment along the way."
Jewelleryrecycling.org was launched in 2006 and has now helped nearly 2,000 schools and charities.
