Leeds’s newest landmark was turned multicoloured in support of a young cancer patient from the city.
Kendal Middleton Jessop is fighting the aggressive cancer neuroblastoma and a massive fundraising drive has seen nearly £200,000 collected for treatment abroad the youngster may need if she relapses.
Bosses at Leeds Arena have given their backing to the cause and arranged for the venue to be lit up to show support for Kendal and other children with neuroblastoma.
The three-year-old, from Swarcliffe, has had months of treatment including a stem cell transplant.
She has just undergone her fourth round of immunotherapy, with the final round taking place early next year.
