Christmas fair invite from local school

A primary school in Cross Gates is calling on the community to join in the festive spirit by turning out to support its annual Christmas fair.

Manston St. James Primary School on Sandbed Lane is holding its annual Christmas fair on Friday, November 23, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

There will be a number of stalls and attractions will include a cracker game, teddy tombola, chocolate fountain, reindeer food, face painting as well as refreshments.

And organisers have also confirmed Santa will be taking a break from his busy schedule to make a guest appearance.

Tracey Hampshire, chair of Friends Of Manston St. James, said: "This year our Christmas Fair will take place immediately after school on Friday 23rd in the afternoon, this will hopefully allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy the occasion and will not interfere with other weekend activities.

"Christmas is a magical time of the year for young and old, and our Christmas Fair proves very popular and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit at a fun relaxed event!"

Admission is free.

Manston St James's recent Christmas shopping evening helped raise around 400 for school funds.
