Christmas cracker sex toy shock for Wakefield boy, 4
A DAD was horrified when sex toys fell out of a Christmas cracker he had bought for his four-year-old son.
Leroy Burnley, 29, of Wakefield, bought the ordinary looking box of silver crackers from a pound shop in Wakefield.
Mr Burnley expected they would be filled with traditional paper hats, funny jokes and children's toys and allowed son Devonlee to have one before Christmas.
He was shocked when the sex toys, along with suggestive dice and condoms, dropped out in front of his son.
Mr Burnley examined the back of the cracker packet and found a tiny sticker with the warning "sexy crackers - not suitable for adults under 14."
He said: "They were with all the other normal crackers in the shop and I had no idea what was inside otherwise I wouldn't have bought them for the kids.
"I was disgusted when I saw what was in them. It's a good job my son didn't realise what the things were for. I'm so glad we didn't wait until Christmas Day. There should be something on the front of the box to warn people."
Moon Iqbal, the owner of Pound Empire in Wakefield where Mr Burnley bought the crackers, said he would remove the remaining stocks that did not have warnings from the front of his shop.
