THE Church of the Epiphany in Gipton, Leeds, has received £10,000 from charity National Churches Trust to help fund repairs to windows to reinstate the original design and provide weatherproofing.

The Grade I listed church was designed by Nugent Cachemaille-Day who was influenced by the church in Coutances, Normandy.

It was consecrated in 1938 to provide for the new garden suburb estate in Gipton.
